Property Register

The property register is a system of data about real property on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria and consists of the acounts of the individual estates. The acts whereby the title or other real right in real property is recognised, transferred, modified or terminated. Foreclosures and mortgages on real property are also included in the property register.

The register shows the condition of the circumstances specified after the latest entry and enables chronological monitoring of changes to registered circumstances as well as to registered acts.

Inquiries about the ownership of property, owners and real rights and restrictions on real property can be made in the property register on-site in the registry offices across the country or via Internet against payment of a charge set in a tariff and registration of the user.

Sofia – for inquiries and issuing of certificates: 09:00 am -02:00 pm

Note: Registrable documents may be submitted to the incoming register after those hours only where an applicant has started to register more than one act before 03:00 pm.

Sofia: Office Hours of the Archives Office: 09:00 am – 01:30 pm

Burgas: Office Hours: 09:00 am – 03:00 pm

Varna: Office Hours for natural and legal persons: 08:00 am – 01:30 pm

Varna: Office Hours of Archive Office: 08:30 am – 01:30 pm

Plovdiv: Office Hours for natural and legal persons: 08:00 am – 01:30 pm

Plovdiv: Office Hours for notaries: 08:30 am – 03:00 pm

Plovdiv: Office Hours of Archive Office: 08:30 am – 01:30 pm

All other cities: Office Hours 10:00 am – 03:00 pm.
