Provision of access to the Commercial Register database for official purposes

On the grounds of Article 12(4) of the Commercial Register Act and Article 37(1) and (2) of the BULSTAT Register Act, the Registry Agency provides state authorities, bodies of local self-government and local administration with free official access to the whole database of the Commercial Register and the BULSTAT Register.

Provision of free access to the Commercial Register

On the grounds of Article 12(4) of the Commercial Register Act and the Ordinance on the terms and procedure of official access to the Commercial Register, the Registry Agency provides the bodies of local self-government and local administration, as well as the persons performing public functions with free access to the whole database of the Commercial Register. The ordinance provides for automatic filing of information by means of interfaces and information transfer standards established in coordination between the Registry Agency and the using body. The executive director of the agency issues an order for provision of access to the Commercial Register pursuant to the ordinance.

Where the user bodies lack technological preparedness for automatic receipt of information provided by the Registry Agency, an alternative way is provided – the information is made available on technical carrier under an agreement signed for a definite period pursuant to the Internal rules for the terms and procedure of provision of the database of the Commercial Register for official purposes.
